weekly interclub matches pairing up teams within
your local area and playing home and away matches.

Eligibility and Cost
- Amateur Men with
an active GHIN Handicap Index of 18.4 or less
- 18 years or older
- FSGA – GHIN Member
Clubs only
- Must be on club’s
official handicap roster as of November 1, 2009
- No entry fee or
green fees – cart fees only
- Head and Assistant

Team Size
- 8 players from
your team play in each match
- Unlimited team

Format of Matches &
Handicaps
- Individual Matches
- Each player competes against an opponent of
the same relative position on the opposing team
- Four Ball (Best
Ball) – Each player will play with a partner
from his team and compete against two players
from the other team
- Handicaps – 100%
of handicaps using each player’s lowest handicap
index of the last 13 revisions
- Players and
partners will be paired according to their
handicap
Your Club’s
Responsibility
- Agree to
host 3 home matches (and potential 2 play-offs)
for cart fees only
- Practice Rounds –
at Club’s discretion
- Golf Professional
must approve Team Captain
Captain’s
Responsibilities
- Each Club must
have at least one Team Captain (co-captains
encouraged)
- Anyone can serve
as Team Captain
- Set-up match
arrangements with Club and host professional

The Florida State
Golf Association (FSGA) was formed in 1913 to
preserve and protect the game of golf.
The FSGA is a volunteer-based organization that
includes over 800 member clubs and over 180,000
individual members from across the state.
The FSGA provides a variety of services to its
member clubs, their members and the general golfing
community of Florida. The association conducts more
than 250 tournament days each year, including 22
state championships and over 40 days of USGA
qualifying events.
